Decathlon Team Fundraising - We need your help!!

Hello parents!! As you know we are in the homestretch for the Decathlon Competition. Its just like any team sport, our children will be seeing the fruits of their labor soon; giving up lunches, spending quality time to study decathlon subjects on top of their regular coursework, and giving up their Saturdays, of sleeping in, to meet with the team and study some more - in preparation for the big GAME on Saturday, March 7th.

This year, due to the economic conditions, we would like to have some fundraisers to offset the costs of running the Decathlon team. There are a few activities we would like to have. Some of the fundraising goals are to raise money for the following:
Plaques for the decathletes, field trip breakfast and possibly lunch costs, pre-decathlon dinner, thanksgiving lunch and assist the school in paying for the school bus that will transport the athletes and their supporters on the day of the event.

We are having a bake sale this coming Friday after school. We need at least 4 families to sign-up and bake goodies for the sale. Please let Leticia Hernandez know if you are interested by Tuesday afternoon so we can coordinate the amount and type of baked goods we will be producing. We will be selling them for $1.00 apiece. Cookies need to be bundled up in 3s.

God willing, we will get permission from That's Amore Pizza for a carwash that will be held on Valentine's Day from 7am - 12pm. We are looking to having 100% participation for this event.

If you have friends in the business who might be willing to sponsor the team, please let Cecile know so we can generate a Sponsor Request letter to them.

If you have any other easy fundraising ideas, please do not hesitate to share it!!

Our goal is to raise approximately $2,000 from the fundraisers. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact Leticia or Cecile.

Thank you for your continuing support of our children. God Bless You and Have a great Week!!
